LOCATION
SunSeaMoon is located in Southern Italy, in Cilento national park and in the Archeological area of Velia and Paestum. It is close to Pompei, to Capri and Ischia islands in the Gulf of Naples. Naples Intl Airport and Rome's two intl airports make our location easily reacheable but - at the same time - protected by the crowd of mass tourism. MAPS coordinates 40.236542, 15.022494
SunSeaMoon can be reached in Airplane from Naples Intl Airport ( from Rome there is high speed train to Napoli). Naples is connected to Agropoli (after Pestum) via train or car. From Naples to Acciaroli port (25 mins from SunSeaMoon) in the summer there is a fast hydrofoil). From Napoli the three lanes Higway A1 reach Battipaglia and then a large statal toad takes to Agropoli and then to Serramezzana, the municipality where SunSeaMoon belongs
SunSeaMoon is located south of Naples, in the National Park of Cilento, an extraordinary naturalistic area.
Naples, Ischia, Capri (see the Grotta azzura on the side), Pompei, Sorrento, Positano ( photo on the right) and Amalfi are only 2 hours away (by car or by train).
The Greek Temples of Paestum as the archeological area of Velia (on the right gallery) are less than 1 hour away. Very interesting is the monumental "Certosa di Padula" where you can understand the social and economical power of the Church in the middle age. Many other attractions can be enjoyed in one day trip or just a quick excursion.
